Enjoy a variety of themed entertainment with children’s workshops and interactive shows hosted by internationally renowned artists
United Arab Emirates, Dubai, May 2023: Festival Plaza, the Jebel Ali community mall part of Al-Futtaim Malls, introduces ‘Bubblez & Balloonz’ a unique children’s festival open now until Saturday 27th May.
Visitors can take part in workshops, watch live shows, and witness the world’s largest unicorn sculpture made using more than 30,000 balloons whilst interacting with different balloon characters throughout the mall. Children can take part in exciting balloon-making workshops with internationally renowned artists creating balloon creations they can take home.
Workshops will be held by celebrities of the balloon artist industry: Mr. Balloonatic, Doctor Bob, and Colin Miles. Famously known for Guinness World Records for the Largest Minifigure, and the Largest 3D Fractal made using modelling balloons, Mr. Balloonatic has shared his art and brought smiles to children’s faces across the world. Doctor Bob pioneered the UK’s first public balloon art festival in 2011 and emerged as the winner of the Large Balloon Sculpture Competition at the Balloon Arts Convention in Italy. Finally, Colin Miles specializes in balloon decoration, winning over 30 international awards for his balloon artwork, and was recently honored with the Don Cheesman Award at Float 2022 for his lifetime contributions to the balloon industry.
Festival Plaza’s Bubblez & Balloonz Festival will also host interactive bubble shows every day hosted by Pop the Bubbleman, who combines science with fun to teach his audience the art of bubble making. This informative and enjoyable experience allows mallgoers to witness an incredible display of bubbles in various shapes and sizes, performed by the master of bubbles himself.
