The first chapter of the Market On The Creek series will run daily starting 6th January to 20th February 2021 coinciding with Dubai Shopping Festival and in partnership with the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). Visitors can experience pop-up stores of home grown products and brands, games and championships, playgrounds, big games and many more. The weekends will see live entertainment featuring bands, DJs, street performers and interactive workshops for children of all ages.
For the first time ever, in partnership with The Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Dubai Festival City Mall, part of Al-Futtaim Malls, is transforming its Festival Bay, the waterfront promenade from 6th January to 10th April to launch a series of ‘’On the Creek’’ outdoor experiential activations.
The first chapter of the series, Market on the Creek, will run every day starting 6th January to 20th February. The Market on the Creek will focus on Bazaars, F&B, Entertainment from home grown talent, products and brands.
Curated exclusively by home grown brands with extensive experience in luxury, high end and high street style products, Market on the Creek will feature pop up stores owned by UAE born and raised entrepreneurs. From fashion to beauty and wellness, health foods and nutrition, home décor and many other different categories, visitors will be able to discover deals on one-of-a-kind unique products in The Market Bazaar committed to supporting local start-ups.
In addition to the market bazaar, visitors will be also be able to experience exhilarating activations and mouth-watering F&B across the six weeks. Inspired by the greatest K-Pop superstars, The Market K-Pop Fanzone is a unique installation and homage to a cultural phenomenon that has taken the world by storm. Visitors are encouraged to come dressed in their favourite icon’s attire and share their images and videos on Instagram by using the activation Hashtag to win cool prizes.
For those who would like to de-stress in a more artistic way, a designated area is created to let out your inner artist. The arts and crafts workshop area is definitely a must to experience for the little ones.
There are some untold inspirational stories that Dubai residents can share on The Message Wall and read about other’s incredible learnings and experiences. If you love Games, this may be your chance to shine. Participate in Jenga, Checkers and Tic Tac Toe and challenge your family or friends. The activities are open for all age groups.
